Apple will hold the grand opening of its new retail store in Covent Garden this weekend.
The retail outlet, located less than a mile from the vendor’s flagship shop in Regent Street, will open at 10am on Saturday 7 August, confirmed Apple's website.
According to reports in the London Evening Standard, the shop will cover four floors and will also contain offices for the company’s corporate staff.
The launch has been subject of ongoing speculation within the channel, after rumours surfaced in 2008 that the vendor was planning to open a new store in W1.
Joe Macri says the vendor saw 20 per cent of its UK growth come from its Cloud Solution Provider programme last year
