Wireless communication and advanced electronic messaging company Qualcomm has introduced Eudora Pro 3 internet email software for Macintosh and Windows platforms.
It comes in five language versions ? French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish, as well as English ? and complements the Eudora Pro and Eudora Lite ranges of products. The key features include special filters which allow for the organisation and management of email. It has enhanced text formatting for the incorporation of fonts and colours, and layout options for giving messages a wordprocessor look.
It also has drag-and-drop capabilities for simplifying the file attachments and manipulating mailboxes, messages and large amounts of text. It has a configurable toolbar, affording easy access to key commands. Multiple email accounts allow the user to access alternative accounts from different servers using one copy of Eudora Pro (Windows only).
It has a floating dockable mailbox window providing a graphical interface for message, mailbox and folder management. Capability-enhancing plug-ins could include human language translation, data compression, image format conversion and data security services.
It has support for stationery, enhanced mail server control and allows for multiple signatures. It also incorporates active internet hotlinks.
Retail prices are #55 for a licence and #205 for a five-user multipack and it is available from Electric Mail and Soft & Net Distribution.
