Anti-virus vendor Sophos has appointed a new UK marketing head to spearhead its channel recruitment drive.
Carver’s role will be to develop both the UK marketing and channel strategy as well as pricing initiatives in the UK. She joins the vendor from Microsoft Business Solutions, where she was credited with developing new business pipelines and reinvigorating the vendor’s VAR channel.
“I’m delighted to be joining Sophos at such an exciting time of growth, with the reseller recruitment drive and Sophos expanding its product range. I’m particularly looking forward to the challenges involved in making these new initiatives a success.”
The firm has also made other appointments including Louise Sanders as sales manager and Piers Morgan as corporate sales manager. Matt Wise has been appointed as the sales manager for small and medium business and Stuart Wilson has joined as UK gateway sales manager.
