Symantec has finalised its acquisition of security software BindView Development.
The vendor's intention to acquire BindView, which develops agent-less IT security compliance software, was first announced on 3 October last year and Symantec said the move would now enable it to offer a range of agent-based or agent-less software.
Last week Symantec announced signed a definitive agreement to acquire IMLogic, developers of enterprise software for instant messaging, for an undisclosed sum (CRN 9 January).
