Blue Coat has launched a $1m (£682,000) rewards programme to encourage resellers to engage end users in evaluation of its WAN-optimisation gear.
The initiative, which applies to Blue Coat Authorised, Premier and Elite resellers, will offer incentives for product evaluations that result in the sale of its ProxySG appliances.
The launch coincides with the introduction of a software upgrade for ProxySG, which Blue Coat claims simplifies deployment and enables partners to demonstrate improved application performance.
Kirsten McCrabb, vice president of worldwide channel and field marketing at Blue Coat, said: “The $1m incentive programme enables our partners to demonstrate this immediate time-to-value and fosters the consultative relationships required to help customers align their network investments with business requirements.”
