Under the new contract, CMS will distribute CommVault’s Simpana data management software to the vendor’s UK reseller base.
It follows on from an earlier deal struck between the pair that covered the distribution of the same product line across Ireland.
Through the extended partnership, CMS will also play an active role in helping CommVault's UK resellers become certified as implementation partners for Simpana.
Vince Blackall, managing director channels EMEA at CommVault, said: “With CMS’s expertise and focus in the market, we believe that this partnership will enable us to reach a larger base of resellers and expand our enterprise footprint in the EMEA market.”
Frank Salmon, group managing director at CMS Peripherals, added: “The combination of an industry-leading product and access to local support, we’re confident that our collaboration with CommVault will enhance our solution portfolio and provide additional value to our partners.”
