Computer finance leasing company The Systems House Group has moved into the Macintosh market for the first time, in direct competition with Apple's branded finance leasing company, Apple Commercial Credit.
Sean Williams, Systems House sales director, said the firm now has a specialised package for dealers, allowing them to offer customers finance up to #15,000 without having to ask for any financial details, twice the amount offered by Apple.
'We can do the finance the same day. We've got more flexibility, because we've got multiple sources of funds.'
Systems House is signed up to 20 different banks, which it says means spreading risk allowing it to underwrite each customer for more credit.
'Dealers can offer customers a package the minute they walk into the showroom without the need for bank statements, so we can set up a package within hours,' claimed Williams.
He promised that Systems House would undercut any deal with Apple.
