A new independent information portal is offering to write case studies for resellers at a set fee and post them on its website.
In an exclusive interview with Computer Reseller News, Robert Lyszyk, director of ITCaseStudies.com, said: "A lot of resellers do not have big PR companies like vendors do. They still need to reference clients in a professional way. This is a portal for resellers to have their case studies written at a reasonable cost."
The company is basing its service on the premise that press coverage and buying decisions are influenced more by real business benefits than flash numbers and speed ratings. Case studies, it argues, are the best way to get word to the IT press and IT sales teams.
"The biggest hassle of a case study is having to get it written," said Lyszyk. "It requires a lot of legwork. ITCaseStudies.com has an infrastructure in place that does it with a fast turnaround. We are experienced in IT and in leading PR campaigns for clients based on case studies."
The site will feature case studies under familiar headings, so that a user can search for particular technologies or subject areas.
Lyszyk said that while there might be some competition from other PR companies, ITCaseStudies.com is the only single source for this type of coverage. "The company is dedicated to writing case studies," he said.
The company aims to go live on 16 October, and Lyszyk is confident that it can meet the deadline.
