Distributor ScanSource Communications Europe has launched an online pricing tool aimed at UK Avaya partners.
System Central 24/7 is designed to provide resellers of Avaya's enterprise solutions with fast and accurate quotations and enable them to track their designs transparently. It has been used by ScanSource’s US sister company for six years.
Kim Jennings, sales manager at ScanSource, which bought UK Avaya distributor MTV Telecom in 2008, said her firm aimed to get pricing to resellers within 48 hours.
“At the same time it provides resellers with a secure repository of quotations they have previously compiled, which they can update with their latest user requirements,” she said.
“Additionally, resellers will be kept informed at each stage of the design process by receiving notifications from System Central via email enabling them to view the quotation.”
