Security and networking vendor ZyXEL Communications is hoping to recruit 400 resellers within a year with the launch of its first partner programme, ZyPartner.
The vendor already has several UK distributors: Northamber, Comtec, Electronic Frontier, and BT Wholesale.
“The types of resellers we’re looking for are VARS and system integrators. If we could get 400 resellers within 12 months, that would be great,” said Lee Marsden, ZyXEL’s UK sales manager.
Benefits of the four-level ZyPartner programme include a 50 per cent discount on the demo kit; rebates; a dedicated account manager; lead generation; technical support and marketing development funds.
David Hennell, commercial director at Northamber, said: “We’ve been working with ZyXEL for six months. We like their ideas and are keen to help them drive business forward in the UK.”
