Westcoast director Andy Dow is on the hunt for his next challenge after confirming he has left the distributor with immediate effect.
Dow rejoined the Theale-based firm a year ago after leaving his role as channel director at Dell UK and Ireland.
Speaking to CRN, Dow said: "I went back to Westcoast to manage a number of certain projects which have been done and completed. It is now time to wander on and look for my next project.
"I am examining a number of different things going foward," he added. "I am also planning to do some consultancy as I can bring a lot of channel expertise and knowledge to vendors and OEMs."
Dow said he intends to say in the channel with his next position.
Joe Hemani, chairman of Westcoast, said: "We had taken Andy on board to execute a couple of external and internal tasks after he left Dell. This has just come to an end. It was a personal decision between Andy and myself at the time and suited both parties."
