IBM has announced plans to upgrade its existing mobile ebusiness products and offer new applications to wireless users. Ebusiness software platform WebSphere Everyplace Service Provider Edition now includes mobile capabilities.
A new server and hosting service were also announced. BT Cellnet is working with IBM to develop and support the commercial roll out of wireless services for businesses, wireless access to email and other applications.
