The deal will see VCW assume responsibility for distributing products from the vendor’s entire product portfolio, which it will target at those specialising in providing Wi-Fi and high bandwidths to large groups of users.
Mike Harris, chairman of VCW said: “They [Xirrus] have an impressive customer base here in the UK, and we are confident that we will accelerate their UK channel strategy.”
Ben Wilson, UK country manager for Xirrus, said the vendor would draw on VCW’s experience in the channel to increase the adoption of its technology in the UK.
Wilson said: “By leveraging their existing relationships into the channel and their technical expertise, we will be able to get an even further reach into the various markets and continue our explosive growth and adoption in the UK.”
