IP telephony vendor Zultys has signed its first service provider agreement to boost resellers’ pan-European fortunes.
Commpete International will operate as the sole preferred service provider for Zultys’ reseller base, with the aim of enabling smaller players to land more European projects.
The vendor confirmed that Commpete will be available to all VARs and will not have direct end-user relationships or ship products.
Jackie Iddon, UK country manager at Zultys, said: “This move is going to enhance our channel capabilities. It allows VARs to partner with an approved service provider and offer enhanced services to end-users. Commpete has a good track record and the European coverage we are after.”
Matthew Ball, research analyst at Canalys, said: “If UK resellers with only local capabilities plan to work with companies who have a European office they can do this with the assistance of Commpete.”
