Lotus finally filled two slots at the head of its operations last week after appointing Neil Hudspith UK MD, and selecting a new EMEA VP.
Hudspith takes on the UK job four months after Colin Wyatt quit the company to join wireless communications integrator Peak Technologies (PC Dealer, 31 July).
Pierre van Beneden, former head of Lotus European consulting business, will replace James Fieger as VP of EMEA. Fieger will return to Lotus US in December.
Hudspith has worked at Lotus for seven years - his last job at the company was regional manager for the EMEA emerging markets group.
It is not known how many candidates within Lotus applied for the job.
Trevor Ward, Lotus UK channel sales manager, said: 'We are very pleased to have Neil on board in the UK.
'He has significant experience - he's worked in the channel and run Lotus in other countries so he has the broad experience to get up to speed on the UK.'
Hudspith will report in to van Beneden. Before joining Lotus, Hudspith worked in the channel as general manager for a distributor. He was unavailable for comment as PC Dealer went to press.
