Wyse has launched a new model in its Winterm range. The Winterm 2300 is about the size of a book, and delivers Windows applications and Internet access. It is to be targeted at environments where space is at a premium, like hospitals, point of sale and public information kiosks. Prices start at u435. Winterm terminals use a Windows NT-based application server to run programs and store data centrally. It uses multi-user NT, called WinFrame.
