Video technology company Eidos - the parent of Domark, US Gold, and Centresoft - is housing all its publishing acquisitions under the Eidos Interactive brand.
The new structure is likely to be based on the Electronic Arts model of publishing with a top tier one name brand supported by a number of sub brands.
The names of Domark, Core Design, Simis, Big Red Software and Silicon Dreams will live on as development studios and will appear on packaging alongside the new Eidos Interactive logo.
In the short term US Gold will also be kept on as a brand name.
Eidos has hived off its video compression business under a new division which is called Eidos Technologies.
