Info'Products UK has drastically overhauled its management team, causing the departure of its managing director, sales director and finance director.
Talking to PC Dealer, Huib Winkel, interim MD at Info'Products, confirmed that John Trueman, the former MD, and Scott Pheby, former director of finance, left 'after mutual agreement', but refused to comment further.
Pheby will be replaced by Paul Morgan. Andrew Douglas, director of sales, was due to leave this week and will be replaced by Norman Kough.
Winkel insisted the dealer had been making preparations for its transition since September 1997, but pointed out that its transformation programme had no bearing on the three employees leaving. He did not rule out the possibility of job cuts for the future.
He said: 'There are jobs in the company today that won't be there in future, and jobs that aren't there today that will be created.'
Info'Products has also suffered the loss of status as an accredited systems service provider (SSP) for Compaq. Winkel claimed that the loss was not linked to the departures.
The management team now comprises five members, with two newly created positions - both internal appointments - director of business development Howard Dickel and director of customer service Bill Colman.
Winkel said he expected to be MD until July 1998.
