The quick-fire appointments are part of a strategy by Vasco to penetrate the channels of its solution partners with whom its products can be integrated.
While Tekdata gives Vasco extra reach into the SonicWall channel, IQ Sys gives Vasco a Citrix play.
Vasco’s distribution line-up previously comprised only e92plus and Wick Hill, meaning it has doubled its distribution tally in one fell swoop.
IQ Sys said Vasco would provide it with an extra security layer to virtualisation projects. It will distribute the vendor’s Digipass solution as an add-on to Citrix application and desktop virtualisation implementations.
David Turner, vendor Development Manager at IQ Sys, said: “Customers are not only looking for efficiency through virtualisation, they also want their infrastructure and applications to be secure. By bundling Vasco authentication with our Citrix offering we see new market opportunities.”
Jan Valcke, president and chief operating officer at Vasco Data Security, said: “We rely on our distributors and resellers to promote our solutions with other vendors.”
Vasco’s corporate communications director Jochem Binst claimed the distribution appointments are the latest in a series of investments Vasco has made in its UK channel in the past year.
This includes the roll out of its first tiered channel programme and allowing top channel partners to act as training centres.
