McAfee SecurityAlliance Premier and Elite level partners will receive the kits, which combine Foundstone appliances, support and software licences. The kits also include same day, on-site technical support to ease the installation process.
Rob Eatwell, regional director of channels at McAfee, said the vendor’s risk-management offering follows its acquisition of Foundstone earlier this year.
“The starter kits provide an excellent chance for our partners to get their foot in the door,” he said. “They are priced attractively to resellers and provide partners with a good margin opportunity and the chance to add their own value-add services on top.”
