The distributor has offered to supply SBL with additional pre- and post-sales services and training to supplement the experience the VAR already has with selling products from both vendors.
Sarah Deller, business unit director at IQ-Sys, said: “IQ-Sys has an engagement model which will empower the SBL sales team with knowledge and resources to fully capitalise on opportunities within their customer base, and support them in delivering complete desktop virtualisation solutions.”
Angela Calvert, head of business development and alliances at SBL, said the deal would ensure the company’s product portfolio continues to support its public sector activities.
She said: “This strengthens our existing offering, ensures we remain in good shape to grow our public sector portfolio and ensures we can continue to deliver software solutions that deliver real advantage to our customer base.”
