Medium has further boosted its digital signage arsenal with a deal to distribute LG’s digital signage offering.
Paul O’Reilly, commercial director at Medium UK, said it had done six months of evaluation of LG’s SuperSign – which includes displays, media players and software – which suggested it would suit the needs of smaller organisations as well as complementing Medium’s enterprise and embedded network portfolios.
“One size does not fit all when it comes to digital signage,“ he said. " Adding this ensures Medium has an offering to suit all our customers’ needs, regardless of size and complexity of network, the experience of the users or level of support available to them.”
The offering will be available exclusively from Medium for the first three months following its September launch, according to Medium.
Barrie Guy, UK general manager at LG Business Solutions, said the distributor had done well establishing similar products in the market.
“Its long-standing relationships with resellers working in the SMB sector made it a natural choice,” Guy said.
LG believes that SMBs represent about a third of the digital signage market in Europe, and that small companies want ease of use, and the same quality and reliability as larger companies, but for less cost.
