Azzurri was given the accreditation after it achieved competencies in Advanced Infrastructure Solutions and Mobility Solutions.
Martin St Quinton, chief executive of Azzurri, told CRN: “Microsoft is a critical player in voice and data communications convergence. We will now be able to work on higher-level projects. If Microsoft wants to work with a partner on a large-scale project, it will pick a Gold partner.”
Paul Turner, managing director of Microsoft Gold Partner Panacea, said: “The primary benefit [Gold status grants] a VAR is more leads, discounts and a better level of training.
“As a Microsoft Gold Partner you also get licensing for the majority of its products at no extra cost.”
