Northern VAR Holbrook IT Group has won a contract to install a security system at Yorkshire-based manufacturer SPG.
Under the terms of the deal, which is for an undisclosed sum, Holbrook will now supply SPG with a Microsoft Exchange Server and Sophos Pure Message anti-virus/anti-spam software to combat the excessive volumes of spam that the firm is currently receiving.
Jan Morris, administration director at SPG, said: “The amount of time this will free up is amazing and has really brought home the need for companies of all sizes to get the right IT systems and support.”
Kevin Walters, director of ERP solutions at Holbrook, said: “Holbrook will continue to work closely with SPG, ensuring the IT solution meets its needs as it continues to grow its business.”
