Those who get stuck between a rock and a hard place when looking for the right hub may find a solution with Network Peripherals (NPI). The Nuswitch fast Ethernet product family includes two 100/100 segment switching hubs, two 100/100 bridges and six 10/ 100 segment switching hubs.
The 100/100 hubs come with 12-port configurations and boost bandwidth performance. Both models support up to 4,096 Mac addresses per port.
The FE-1200 offers Power-link, which enables parallel 200Mbps links to be created between switches for performance of up to 800Mbps. Two of the hubs feature a 100Base-TX repeater.
NPI Marketing VP Don Morrison said: 'Our range of stackable switches enables customers to build networks that solve bandwidth problems.'
The Nuswitch FE-600 costs $3,995 and the FE-1200 costs $8,995. They are available through Unity Distribution and Dean Micro Systems.
