VAR Ramsac is ready to make its first acquisition after posting sales growth of 41 per cent for its financial year to the beginning of May.
Robert May, managing director at the Microsoft Gold partner, said: “On the back of a year that’s been very good for us growth-wise, we’re now in a position to look for acquisitions.
“It would need to be a competitor that’s complementary to us. A reseller focusing on support and managed services would be an obvious choice.”
Nick King, chairman at Microsoft Gold partner Apex, said: “We’re seeing growth with Microsoft in the mid-tier of the SME market and if Ramsac is bold enough to make acquisitions, I can understand the strategy.”
