Internet performance management vendor Gomez has signed its first reseller in the UK, and is looking to develop additional partnerships.
Boston-based Gomez, which was founded in 1997, provides tools and services that allow customers to monitor the performance of web sites and web applications.
Mike Bromilow, UK managing director of Gomez, told CRN: “Gomez doesn’t have a big reseller model; it has a few selected partners. But in the main it sells direct.
“We signed Bracknell-based Partners in IT as our first UK partner last month. We are looking to set up additional partnerships with VARs that can help us target the customers we want.”
Alan Johnson, director of technology at Partners in IT, said: “We’re a service management consultancy, and we also implement Hewlett-Packard Openview, so Gomez’s offering complements what we do.”
