Global Positioning System vendor Magellan has claimed VARs can earn 30 per cent margin on its products and is currently on a recruitment drive.
The firm has signed a distribution agreement with Ingram and is looking for channel partners to target the SME market.
Peter Rigby, northern Europe sales manager, consumer at Magellan, said: “Prices on satellite navigation systems have crashed in the past two years, but we are offering resellers margins of 25 to 30 per cent.
“We want to recruit 50 to 100 partners that can sell our systems as part of an end-user’s mobile strategy; we don’t want to overlap and have partners competing with each other.”
