IP telephony vendor AltiGen may finally be feeling optimistic about its channel after reseller partner ComVerge released details of three IP project wins.
The projects will involve ComVerge, working with Clearspace, Insurance Quoteline and IRSDirect.
Peter Cameron, director at ComVerge said: “People are buying the technology as it is simple to install, administer and manage. It will be aimed at the SME market as it allows them to have the functionality they need for a fraction of the price. We are undercutting the major players by 30 to 40 per cent.”
However, one partner said: “To be honest [AltiGen] just have not made it. We did not see resellers doing the business and just could not get anyone enthused about the products.”
