End-to-end switching specialist Madge Networks is mounting an aggressive advance in its two-tier channel by recruiting up to 200 Vars and launching an accreditation programme.
Madge, which currently has around 40 resellers in its distribution channel, aims to increase its two-tier base about six-fold in the next 18 months.
New and existing partners will be trained under Madge's Advanced Network Partner accreditation programme.
David Pool, the company UK market development manager, said the scheme was instrumental in promoting its position in switched Ethernet, Token Ring and ATM markets. '1996 is an important year for our distribution partners. We intend to build one of the industry's most highly trained and focused reseller communities,' he said.
