Data centre provider UKSolutions (UKS) has lifted the lid on its new channel-focused hybrid cloud platform.
The offering has been created by UKS in conjunction with its channel partners to provide users with a secure cloud-based “pay-as-you-go” pricing model.
Daniel Lowe, managing director of UKS, said creating a platform that combines the benefits of both private and public clouds had been a challenge.
“Regardless of the explosive trends many experts are predicting [about cloud], there are still some barriers to market that are impacting on adoption, such as security and compliance, which our new hybrid cloud addresses," he said.
The flexibility the model offers should prove a winner for the firm’s partners, added Lowe.
“We are confident that our ability to allow our partners to define their own performance and bandwidth ratios, along with our flexible pricing model, will prove successful for everyone involved," he said.
