Mail order reseller Tech Direct Europe has been placed in administrative receivership after apparently failing to find a buyer. Poppleton & Appleby was appointed receiver last Thursday to the Surbiton-based reseller, which is thought to been hit by the slowdown in corporate spending and problems implementing a new IT system. Tech Direct was not available for comment on Monday. A voice message said the company was currently closed because of computer problems. First published in Computer Reseller News
