Scalable will now have access to Mitel’s most comprehensive IP portfolio and the highest level of sales support from the vendor.
Simon Brown, commercial director of Scalable, said the Mitel accreditation will enable the integrator to boost its convergence pitch to end-users.
“Achieving the highest level of accreditation from Mitel means a great deal to us,” he said. “We have now trained the engineers and sales staff needed [to gain the status]. It has been the most challenging accreditation we have ever achieved.
“We needed a convergence partner and we try and get the highest accreditation with partners as possible.”
Brown added that Scalable comes from a data background, which is an important aspect for a firm operating in convergence. He also claimed Scalable has the security skills to provide a secure offering to end-users.
Enda Kenneally, sales director at Mitel, said: “Our relationship with Scalable has been successful because it shares our vision of supplying IP
solutions that improve business processes and customer service.” C
