Specialist systems integrator Panacea has secured a three-year service contract with sports and outdoor clothing distributor GMK.
The contract, worth £300,000 over three years, will see Panacea provide a complete infrastructure upgrade for GMK in time for its relocation later this month.
GMK, which imports and markets a range of guns and branded sports accessories, has bought two solutions from Panacea: Sage Enterprise upgrade, a network infrastructure upgrade, and AmeriGo Online, both aimed at streamlining GMK's operations.
"We chose Panacea for its competencies in ebusiness and customer relationship management; areas that we have a strong focus on," said Oskar Waktare, financial director at GMK. "It also has the UK's biggest support team in the Sage Enterprise channel, which is extremely reassuring."
Barry Wakelin, software technology director at Panacea, said: "The solutions provided by Panacea will enable GMK to focus its marketing, and will provide a platform for it to introduce new brands."
GMK's operations will be enhanced for new and existing customers, he added.
