Semiconductor manufacturer Motorola is suing rival chip giant Intel, claiming it targeted Motorola executives for employment to obtain trade secrets. Motorola claimed chip designer Mark McDermott and 15 other Motorola employees hired by Intel since September to work at its design centre in Austin have sensitive information on Motorola's technology. The manufacturer is seeking an injunction to prevent Intel from placing workers in positions where such information could be revealed.
