Email and web security appliance vendor PineApp has launched a new marketing portal to help its resellers drum up more leads.
The PineApp Channel Marketing Portal enables registered resellers to mail customised email templates to their customer databases then monitor the results.
Business development director Dominic Hoskins said the vendor had spent two months developing the system in conjunction with third-party marketing firm So Marketing.
“Most resellers can send communications out but the issue they have is how to monitor the results,” he said.
“This gives them a full lead-generation engine so they can go into the portal and look at who opened it, who followed the click through, and who unsubscribed.”
Hoskins said the system was piloted with about 20 resellers before Christmas but hoped all 60 of Pine-App’s partners would now get involved.
“This gives them access to a tool they do not necessarily have – and it is free,” he said.
