Components giant Asus has moved to strengthen it channel relationships by rewarding successful resellers with additional marketing and training support.
The vendor has unveiled Asus Centre, a new channel programme to work with its Asus Advantage programme launched earlier in the year.
Portia Chang, UK channel manager at Asus, said: “The Asus Centre programme will offer resellers that hit agreed targets extra marketing support as a rebate.
“The trend will be for Asus to work with resellers in the future. We plan to go deeper into the channel and have a more customised approach for UK resellers,” she said.
Shelley Raja, managing director at reseller partner Scan, was keen to support Asus’s channel plans and he feels that the vendor’s UK strategy could strike a chord with committed partners.
“Asus listens to its resellers and its size does not affect the service it provides. It looks after its channel, the brand is good and it is financially sound with good innovative products,” he claimed.
