VirtualSharp has named systems integrator MTI as its first channel partner, following on from the company's launch in the UK last month.
The product is the firm’s first major product release since its UK launch. It is aimed at organisations tightly governed by compliance regulations, which are required to carry out regular disaster recovery tests.
Carlos Escapa, chief executive of VirtualSharp, said it had selected MTI to market the product because of its knowledge of the local market.
“With its proven track record in the delivery of bespoke disaster recovery solutions in highly demanding IT environments, MTI is ideally positioned and skilled to drive the adoption of this [product].”
Tony Conway, vice president of customer services at MTI, said: “Every few years a new product is introduced that has the potential to change the way end users approach their IT infrastructure. VirtualSharp’s ReliableDR is one of them and we are very excited to have the opportunity to take it to market.”
