Former Oracle boss Eddie Chance has been handed the role of channel director at security services specialist SecureWorks.
In his new role, Chance will be responsible for driving growth of the firm's channel across EMEA and developing partner relationships in the public and private sector.
Richard Lewis, vice president of EMEA at SecureWorks, said: "Eddie's experience in the EMEA region makes him the perfect choice to spearhead our channel strategy throughout the EMEA market."
In the past, Chance has held down management roles at Oracle and defunct Scottish VAR Adventi.
Chance said he was looking forward to taking the reins at SecureWorks. He said: "I expect to work closely with current and future partners to create more opportunity for organisations to increase security while reducing operational costs."
