Ingram Micro has continued its headlong charge into the telecoms and mobility space by forging a pan-European partnership with IDAPT.
Barcelona-based start-up IDAPT, which makes mobile device charging solutions, is the latest to come on board. Mobile accessories outfit Otterbox and mobile service management vendor BoxTone have also been signed up this month.
Pierre-Yvon Mechali, executive director and general manager, Telco Division, Ingram Micro EMEA, said: “IDAPT is a perfect addition to our growing suite of leading-edge mobile products and solutions.
“We are very pleased to be the first major broadline distributor in Europe to partner with IDAPT and bring our retail and dealer customers this breakthrough technology.”
Jacques Giribet, founder and chief executive of IDAPT, said: “The agreement is a major step forward to increase the availability of our range of universal chargers in stores throughout Europe, making it noticeably easier for our growing European customer base to find our products.”
