Integrator SCC is looking to take a bite out of the Apple market after bagging Authorised Reseller Accreditation status with the vendor.
The accreditation will see SCC offer the full range of Apple products to its entire business customer portfolio.
Rhys Sharp, chief technology officer at SCC, said: “We know UK businesses are ready to do more than just talk about the consumerisation of IT because it’s on the agenda of every CIO we speak to.
"A new generation of business users want to work using the same devices they have in their homes, and this development reflects our determination to deliver the full range of technologies and services that, while not traditionally considered part of the commercial computing landscape, are increasingly what customers want."
Last year SCC claimed a UK first by demonstrating its virtual desktop technology on two iPads specially flown over from the US for an in-house event.
Andy Wright, director of vendor alliances at SCC, said: “Exciting technologies, such as those from Apple, are part of our everyday life, and SCC is committed to working closely with customers to help them create competitive advantage from these emerging new platforms and solutions.
“With 36 years’ experience of analysing new solutions, mastering their implementation and delivering commercial benefits, SCC is confident it has mapped out the right path to take organisations profitably into the future."
