Open-source software vendor Red Hat has launched a deal registration initiative for its Advanced and Premier partners in the UK.
The rebate scheme will see partners rewarded with a financial incentive for each Red Hat product they sell to customers registered in the programme.
To coincide with the launch, the vendor has also overhauled its partner portal to make it easier to access product information, sales training, marketing tools and leads.
Petra Heinrich, EMEA vice president for partners and alliances at Red Hat, said the rebate scheme will help VAR progress to higher levels within its partner programme.
She said: "The introduction of deal registration to our Advanced and Premier partners provides valued financial incentives as we each grow our businesses.
"It offers a great opportunity for our partners to graduate to Advanced partner status, and deal registration can provide strategic and financial gains on entry."
