US thermal printer maker Printronix has appointed a new vice president of sales and marketing for its EMEA business.
Frans Ditmer has joined the vendor after several stints in international sales, new business development and general management at Ricoh Europe and Wacom Europe.
Ditmer said he will be responsible for strategic business development and strengthening partner relationships in Printronix's industrial and business printing markets, reporting to chief executive Randy Eisenbach.
"The opportunity [is] to expand and further develop its offering within the EMEA region," Ditmer said.
Ditmer will be based out of the Netherlands and Germany.
