Distributor Steljes has signed an exclusive deal to resell Avermedia's new Avercomm H video conferencing kit to partners in the UK and Ireland.
Martine Dodwell-Bennett, sales and marketing director at the distributor, hopes the two models that comprise the H series will sell well.
"There is a growing demand for affordable and easy-to-use video conferencing," she said. "With no required service and maintenance contracts or additional licensing fees, the total cost of ownership is significantly lower than comparable solutions."
Adrian Kite, sales manager at Avermedia, said the vendor's relationship with Steljes goes back years. "We have enjoyed tremendous growth together in the visualiser market," he said.
According to a statement from Steljes, the two Avercomm H series models work out of the box, are portable, IP-based and interoperate with other video conferencing end-points and management systems, making them well suited to SMBs.
