Services-only distributor TSD is on the hunt for security resellers after grabbing sole distribution rights for HP’s ProtectTools portfolio.
The firm was only born last November with the aim of selling HP services to the vendor’s accredited partners.
This latest partnership will see the distributor target the government and defence markets and other verticals with the ProtectTools portfolio, which includes Email Release Manager, Enterprise Device Access Manager and Role Based Access.
Robert Cannar, business manager for HP ProtectTools at TSD, claimed the value-add services it offers will be a beacon for resellers. "We want to make selling HP ProtectTools as profitable and easy as possible for our reseller partners," he said. "We offer free co-marketing activities, regular product and sales training, joint customer visits and a free renewal service – all aimed to increase reseller sales of the security software products.”
Cannar added: “The beauty of the HP ProtectTools portfolio is that the products can be used by businesses of all sizes. From a small firm of accountants to a multinational financial organisation, the software protects against security threats that all businesses are facing.”
