Steljes has signed up to distribute the Elmo range of visualisers and wireless slates across the UK and Ireland.
Martine Dodwell-Bennett, sales and marketing director at Steljes, said Elmo makes top-notch optical equipment with a strong reputation for visualisers, specifically in the education market.
"Visualisers are an invaluable teaching resource and are seen as a ‘must-have' for educators, whether they teach the early years or in further and higher education establishments," Dodwell-Bennett opined.
"With the addition of Elmo to our product portfolio, we now offer our reseller partners the widest choice of leading brands."
She said that Steljes was increasingly focused on the development of the currently less-mature visualiser market.
Adding Elmo means that Steljes can offer visualisers for portable, desktop, entry-level, standalone, integrated, or higher-end applications, she said.
Megumi Atarashi, UK operations manager at Elmo, said the vendor is aiming to achieve the top vendor spot in visualisers and wireless slates throughout the UK.
"With Steljes' reputation in the AV industry for making market leaders, we know that this partnership will help us to achieve this," Atarashi said.
"Steljes has demonstrated considerable growth within the visualiser market through a strong sales team and innovative reseller marketing activities."
Steljes plans to show off the Elmo visualisers and wireless slates to partners at its SHAPE roadshows, which are to take place this month in Edinburgh, Birmingham, Reading and Leeds.
