Symantec is offering one of its UK resellers the opportunity of a lifetime in the form of a private session with Dragons' Den mogul James Caan (pictured).
The prize has developed from an ongoing partnership between Caan and Symantec, which aims to provide UK entrepreneurs with advice on how to manage and protect their information assets.
Partners have until the end of September to register deals through Symantec’s online registration tool, Symantec Small Business Margin Builder, where they will be automatically entered into the competition. The winner will be announced at the end of September.
The winning partner will have the chance to submit a business plan to Caan before the meeting, during which they will receive tailored advice from the man himself.
Caan said: “I know from first-hand experience that external advice can be really beneficial when you are running a business, and a fresh pair of eyes can often identify untapped opportunities.”
Ross Walker, director of small business for Symantec UK, said: “With recent research highlighting that small business may hold the key to boosting the UK economy, there is real potential for this to be the year of the small business. This is a great opportunity for a partner to reach their full potential.”
Caan added: “Sound industry knowledge is essential to business development, so no matter what stage the winner is at, I look forward to being able to use my experience and offer my advice.”
