Paragon Software's sponsored team of Caroline Ingham and friend Mary Braddock have returned from the Jordanian desert having raised more than £14,500.
Ingham and Braddock (pictured) ventured forth on horseback in April, joining 18 other riders to participate in the 150km, five-day Petra Horse Ride 2011, raising funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Both women undertook intensive training – not least working on their riding – to prepare for the trip.
"The harsh environmental conditions meant we were riding in temperatures exceeding 40˚C during the day with little shade, while at night we endured sub-zero temperatures," said Ingham.
