NEC Display Solutions has ramped up its approach to medical and colour markets with new sales manager appointments.
Simon Jackson, vice president at NEC Display Solutions (pictured), said the vendor has hired Eizo account manager Steve Cotton and former Fuji Film and Medtronic staffer Freddie Elliott to boost sales in those two markets.
"They offer great knowledge and experience in their specialist areas," Jackson said.
Jackson said that Cotton's formal title will be colour and media sales specialist, with Elliott filling the role of UK healthcare sales manager.
Opportunities in the medical market are ramping up as hospitals look to replace and upgrade their display systems, according to Jackson.
