Midwich auto-ID subsidiary Synergix is being moved into the parent company headquarters in Diss, Norfolk.
Steve Fay, general sales manager at Midwich, said the move was about supporting customers better, although Synergix will continue to operate as a specialist auto-ID division and support its own customers.
"[We will] work more strategically on growing our auto-ID division and meeting the needs of our manufacturer partners. We are passionately committed to our auto-ID division," he said.
Synergix, which was bought by Midwich in 2008, would continue to build its portfolio with new vendors, he added, as well as develop a strong internal sales and management team.
